Paul believes that life is short. Any talents with which we have been blessed should be directed toward making the world a better place. Paul’s talent is design. Kinexx is his thoughtfully-crafted vehicle for improving the lives of the great people in the community.
Since the launch of his career in architecture and construction, Paul has taken a voracious interest in the movement toward prefabrication. He sees this as a powerful solution for a construction industry desperately in need of a bridge between well-designed, quality buildings and hard working people yearning to occupy them.
Teaming up with Real Estate Professional / General Contractor Joshua Braun in 2016 led to the launch of Kinexx and the realization of Paul Tebben’s longtime dream to design and build thoughtful modular living spaces; connecting good people with good design, no strings attached.
Prior to the launch of Kinexx, Paul founded Ellipsis Architecture, an award-winning architecture and design firm based in Chicago. Paul and his team built Ellipsis on the belief that architecture can enrich, empower and inspire. They find value in the power of meaningful design and its ability to improve lives.
Paul has a wide range of experience from large-scale commercial and institutional work, to complex multi-family and private residential projects. His background in navigating intricate projects from visionary concept to cost-effective execution is one of his greatest strengths. Since the launch of Ellipsis Architecture in 2008, Paul has worked on more than fifty multi-family residential projects and over one hundred single-family residences. He brings the breadth of his industry knowledge and the passion of his architecture practice to Kinexx for the advancement of the modular housing industry.
